| “Chef's Table”
While many restaurants offer variations of a Chef's Table, The Breadalbane Inn, has developed a room specifically designed for a small group to share in an interactive exclusive dining experience with a very affordable introductory cost.
Guests arrive at The Breadalbane, and are welcomed at the bar with champagne and canapés, by our dedicated wait staff and the chef then explains the evening's events. The special menu is revealed every Thursday, which consists of four tasting courses. Guests will be able to select from the Inn's award wining VQA wine list or choose from a pre-selected matched “Flight of Wines” that will accompany each dish.
The chef plays an integral role at the Chef's Table. The design allows guests the opportunity to discuss delicate details of each course while the chef is preparing their meal. The chef can share insightful information about the menu, and the chance to engage with him in dialogue makes this a dynamic dining experience. The chefs will rotate and every chef has carte blanche to design their own menu.
The Chef's Table offers a new and intimate experience to the Inn and gives a true insight into the Breadalbane Kitchen.
Chefs in France first came up with the Chef's Table concept, inviting family and friends to eat at a table in the kitchen so they could try out new dishes. We are hoping that by extending this invitation, guests are able to observe and share their passion for food and wine.
The Chef's Table experience is being offered at a low introductory cost of only $29.95 per person for VIP members $59.95 for non-members. Becoming a VIP member is complimentary and gives our guests the opportunity to earn valuable points while dining in our Fergusson Room which then can be redeemed in our Maple Shade dining. Being a VIP member also has its own perks, you can learn about upcoming events before everyone else, so that you can reserve your seat and not be disappointed because an event is sold out.
